The Greek Place at 8417 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring has permanently closed, according to a reader tip received yesterday afternoon:
It looks like the Greek Place at 8417 Georgia Ave is permanently closed. Google maps says it is temporarily closed but there are for lease signs in the window.
The restaurant’s website and phone number are both out of service.
Meanwhile, the Chase Bank, nearby at 8435 Georgia Ave., is temporarily closed, according to signage posted at the location.
“We will reopen as quickly as possible,” the sign reads. “If this branch has a night deposit, deposits placed in the night deposit will be processed when the bank reopens.”
