Sip & Develop, a new photography studio that combines a bring-your-own beverage social gathering space with darkrooms that allow customers to develop film, will hold a grand opening on March 5.
The grand opening date was recently announced on the outlet’s website and Instagram account.
The studio will be located at the former home of the Sprint store at 8501 Fenton St. in the Downtown Silver Spring development. The Sprint store closed after the company merged with T-Mobile in 2020, and relocated to the T-Mobile store at 8668 Colesville Rd.
“Sip & Develop prides itself on being the only company in the United States that combines a “Bring Your Own” self serve beverage option & social environment with easy to understand film developing instructions,” reads the outlet’s website. “NO film developing experience is required! We’ll entertain you and your friends, co-workers, or family as we show you step-by-step how to develop film!”
