Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in two burglaries that occurred earlier this month in the Glenmont area.
“On February 3, officers from the 4th District responded to 2500 block of Glenallen Ave. for the report of a burglary that just occurred,” reads an MCPD news release. “The investigation by detectives determined that during the overnight hours, an unknown male forced entry into two separate offices within the complex. Upon entering the offices, the suspect vandalized and stole property prior to fleeing the scene.
“On February 6, officers from the 4th District responded again to the 2500 block of Glenallen Ave. for the report of a burglary that occurred earlier. The investigation by detectives determined that on February 3, an unknown suspect gained access into a locked storage room and stole property.
“Detectives have determined that both incidents were committed by the same suspect. Anyone with information regarding this suspect or this crime is asked to call the 4th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5530 or 240-773-TIPS, or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Callers can remain anonymous.”
