Guavaberry Dominican Restaurant is now open in the former home of The Greek Place at 8417 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring.
“We offer nothing but the best in traditional Dominican Cuisine,” reads the restaurant’s website. “Over 15 Years of experience now sharing it our experience to with the DMV.”
The menu, shown below, includes popular Dominican dishes like sancocho, mangu, and tostones, with entrees ranging from $9.99 for trifongo to $27.99 for red snapper.
According to the restaurant’s Instagram profile, Guavaberry is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Online ordering is not currently live on the restaurant’s website, however, pickup and delivery orders can be placed via Uber Eats.
Guavaberry Dominican Restaurant is the latest in a growing list of recent and upcoming restaurant openings in Silver Spring, including Bonchon, J. Hollinger’s, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Underground Pizza Company, Tacosway Mexican Grill, Valenciana Wine Garden, Flip’d by IHOP, The Breakfast Club, Firepan Korean BBQ, Dunkin/Baskin-Robbins, Dog Haus Biergarten, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Black Lion Café, Willie T’s Seafood Shack/Be Right Burger, Kusshi Ko, Miss Toya’s Creole House, and the Commas food hall at Ellsworth Place.
