Detectives with the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have released a video of a person of interest sought in the fatal stabbing of 42-year-old Kenneth Thomas, Jr. of Silver Spring.
The fatal stabbing occurred around 1 a.m. Monday, March 14 at Cloud Lounge in Northwest D.C., according to WTOP. Fox 5 reports that Cloud Lounge is closed indefinitely and its alcohol beverage license has been suspended.
“At approximately 1:03 am, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing,” MPD said in a press release. “Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim, inside an establishment, suffering from an apparent stab wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.”
MPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for each homicide committed in D.C. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call MPD at (202) 727-9099 or send a text message to 50411.
