UPDATED: Concern for Missing Blair High School Student

UPDATE 4/5/2022 1:19 p.m. — Montgomery County Police tweeted that Kennedy Isom has been located safe and unharmed.

UPDATE 4/5/2022 8:37 a.m. — Hyattsville-based nonprofit Black & Missing Foundation, Inc. has joined the efforts to locate Kennedy Isom.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigation Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Montgomery Blair High School student.

“Kennedy Isom, age 14, was last seen on Friday, April 1, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., in the 50 block of University Boulevard East,” reads an MCPD news release. “Isom is approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has brown eyes and long black hair in braids, with clear beads. She was last seen wearing a black vest, a black hoodie with white strings underneath the vest, black sweatpants and black, green and yellow Jordan sneakers.

“Police and family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kennedy Isom is asked to call the Montgomery County Police SVID at (240) 773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.”

The MoCo Show reports that Isom’s sister has established an Instagram account to help spread the word.
