Quarry House Tavern, The Girl & The Vine are RAMMY Award Finalists

Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring and The Girl & The Vine in Takoma Park are finalists for The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s annual RAMMY Awards.

Quarry House Tavern is a finalist in the Beer Program of the Year category, while The Girl & The Vine is a finalist in the Hottest Sandwich Spot category.

Additionally, Mark Bucher, who operates the Feed The Fridge nonprofit and Medium Rare restaurants, as well as Andrew Dana and Daniela Moreira of the Downtown Silver Spring Farmers Market usuals Call Your Mother, are finalists in the Restaurateur of the Year category.

The announcement event, held Tuesday evening at The Hamilton Live in Washington, was hosted by NBC4’s Eun Yang and Jummy Olabanji, and Potomac resident and country singer-songwriter Maggie Rose performed her song, “Change the Whole Thing,” according to Washington Business Journal.

The RAMMY Awards Gala will be held on July 24th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
