Perla Hair Salon at 8433 Georgia Ave. has closed its location and moved elsewhere, according to a sign posted in the window.
The new location is given as 12104 Heritage Park Circle in Silver Spring, near the intersection of Viers Mill and Randolph roads. That address also is given on Maps for Glamour Hair Extensions Boutique.
Perla had been in business for more than 10 years, specializing in Dominican stylings.
The note says walk-ins are welcome at the new location and the phone number is listed as 301.748.8943.
The Source has seen recent activity inside the building with new flooring, shelving and other fixtures, along with point-of-sale terminals typically used in retail operations. We will post more information when we receive it.
