Tesla is planning to expand its Montgomery County footprint with a new service center in White Oak, according to a report from Washington Business Journal.
WBJ reports that the new 26,000-square-foot service center would be located at 2320 Broadbirch Drive, east of Columbia Pike, near Home Depot and the Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center. The building, previously home to State Farm Insurance, will be Tesla’s seventh facility in the Washington Metropolitan Area, according to the report.
The building was sold for $7 million to Florida-based Dunphy Development LLC in April. The seller was Rockville’s GSBS Properties LLC, with Cushman & Wakefield representing the seller, according to WBJ.
