Silver Spring’s CCI Health Services will mark the opening on Tuesday, May 24 of the nonprofit’s new administrative headquarters located at 8665 Georgia Ave.
CCI purchased the building next to Eagle Bank in September and began remodeling it in anticipation of the move.
The change will allow the organization, which provides affordable, accessible care to persons and families in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, to expand its flagship health center at 8630 Fenton St., Suite 1204.
“The need for health care in this area has increased since COVID arrived. We realized that the Silver Spring teams needed the entire space to deliver the care we strive to offer our patients,” Dr. Sonya Bruton, CCI’s president & CEO said in a press release.
CCI was the first health center in Maryland chosen by the White House to participate in its Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program in February 2021.
