All Set Donates Nearly $20k to Uvalde Shooting Victims and Families

All Set Restaurant & Bar in downtown Silver Spring will donate nearly $20,000 raised Tuesday evening to the victims, survivors, and families impacted by the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, according to a report from WTOP.

All Set’s donation will go directly to the families via a GoFundMe established by VictimsFirst, a network of surviving victims of mass casualty crime and trusted supporters.

“We really feel as strongly as possible about getting all of the money directly to the victims’ families to help pay for funeral expenses,” All Set managing partner Jennifer Meltzer said to WTOP.

Final sales for last night’s dinner service totaled nearly $8,600, compared to a typical Tuesday dinner service of around $3,000. A local organization pledged a $10,000 funding match, and a local real estate developer also pledged $2,500, according to the report.

The restaurant encourages those who were unable to dine at the restaurant on Tuesday to donate to the VictimsFirst GoFundMe directly.
