Bump ‘n Grind will bring its Analog Market pop-up concept to downtown Silver Spring, according to a post on the coffee shop and roaster’s Liner Notes blog.
The six-month pop-up series will kick off July 2nd at 923 Gist Ave., running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through December.
“Analog Market is held in a two-story 1950’s home, with a front garden and back patio, walking distance to Silver Spring Metro and the rest of downtown Silver Spring,” the announcement reads. “Every weekend visitors can expect vintage, antique and collectible vendors; fresh BnG roasted coffee served via a “coffee bike”; vinyl-spinning DJs; seating, stroller parking, plenty of shade, and fresh blooming flowers!”
Bump ‘n Grind owner David Fogel said that he decided to bring the Analog Market to downtown Silver Spring after a successful test of the concept in the Forest Glen neighborhood over Memorial Day weekend. “Bump ’n Grind has always been about providing third spaces that add to our community’s fabric,” Fogel said in a message to the Source. “Analog Market continues this tradition by showcasing local small businesses, musicians, exquisite coffee, and more surprises in a unique setting. We’re excited to see how the space evolves each week and adds to the vibrancy on the fringe of Silver Spring’s Central Business District.”
