Downtown Silver Spring newcomer J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse is launching a Happy Hour from 4-6 p.m. on weekdays beginning today, July 5, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram account.
Menu offerings include $8 glasses of wine and $6 beers, along with light bites including Tuna Ceviche, Lobster Roll, and Disco Fries, as well as raw bar selections.
Owned by Jerry Hollinger of The Hollinger Group (The Daily Dish, The Dish and Dram) and led by Michelin-starred chef Mike Ellis, J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse opened on May 10 in the former home of The Classics at 8606 Colesville Rd. in downtown Silver Spring.
Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema recently praised J. Hollinger’s, noting that the restaurant “serves up accessible luxury”.
