Long Branch pupusa purveyors La Casita Pupuseria & Market have launched a food truck, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram account.
“La Casita Pupuseria is now on wheels!”, the Instagram post reads. “Book the LC food truck for events, festivals, and more. Make sure to follow and stay tuned on our socials to find out where the LC truck ends up next. Visit lacasitapupusas.com/contact to request more information on booking.”
The restaurant, which opened on Piney Branch Road in 2002, has recently received local and national media attention. Bon Appétit magazine featured La Casita in an article titled “To Travel the D.C. Beltway is to Sample the Flavors of the World,” and The Washington Post food critic Tim Carman named the restaurant one of “the best places to get breakfast in the middle of the afternoon.”
In addition to the Long Branch location, La Casita has locations in Germantown, Gaithersburg, at Nationals Park, and inside La Cosecha at Union Market.
