Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins will mark the grand opening of a new combination store in Four Corners by giving away a year of free coffee or free ice cream on Saturday, Sept. 17 beginning at 9 a.m., according to a press release sent to the Source.
The store is located at 115 University Blvd. W. in the former location of a Capital One bank branch.
The free giveaway will go to the first 100 customers and include a coupon book good for either four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, or four free single-scoop ice cream entrees per month for 14 months. The coupons will only be good at the Four Corners location.
From 9–11 a.m., the company also will offer giveaways from a prize wheel and photo opportunities with mascot Cuppy, among other activities. Jesse Luis of the Luis Group, the local franchisee, will host the store’s ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.
The 2,400 square-foot store will employ about 25 people and will be open daily from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. It features indoor seating, a dedicated mobile order pick-up area, a drive-through and complimentary wi-fi for guests.
The company opened a similar store in White Oak in July of last year.
