A woman-owned consulting firm is moving from its Rockville offices to the 1100 Wayne Ave. building at Station Square, according to a report in The Daily Record.
EnCompass LLC partners with government, multilateral and nonprofit organizations and provides leadership and management development, organization development, technical assistance and other services.
“Totaling 20,588 square feet, the deal for 11 years or more reflects a broader national shift of companies that are gravitating to new or recently repositioned office product that incorporate high-end amenities, flexible workspace and connectivity to residential areas, shops and restaurants,” according to the Record.
The three-building office complex was sold in 2019 to Atlanta-based Bridge Office Fund Manager LLC, a subsidiary of Bridge Investment Group, which says it has invested almost $5.5 million so far in renovations and other improvements.
Current tenants include Planet Fitness, and Java Nation, a full-service restaurant, is scheduled to open in early 2023.
According to the Record, Adamo Pastry and Coffee Bar, which will be located off the 1010 Wayne Ave. lobby, is also looking to open in early 2023.
