Detectives Release Video of Suspects in Monday Morning Shooting

Detectives from the 3rd District of the county’s police department have released surveillance video of two suspects in a shooting in downtown Silver Spring yesterday morning (Oct. 24).

The police are asking for help to identify the suspects in the incident, which occurred around 10:30 a.m.

Officers responded at about 10:36 a.m. to reports of shots fired in the area of the intersection of Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive.

“The preliminary investigation by detectives has determined that two Black males were shooting at one another,” according to a press release. “During the shooting, a commercial business was struck by a bullet, as well as a car driving on Fenton St. toward Ellsworth Dr.”

There were no injuries.
