Detectives from the county’s 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 58-year-old man from Silver Spring.
MCPD said in a press release that Jose David Ortega was last seen on Thursday, December 8 at approximately 8 p.m., in the 1300 block of Fenwick Ln. in downtown Silver Spring.
Ortega is described as approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs 270 pounds. It is unknown what he was last seen wearing.
Police and family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jose David Ortega is asked to call the 3rd District Investigative Section at (240) 773-6870 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
