UPDATED: Police: Silver Spring Teen Missing Since New Year’s Eve

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Kadiatu Sesay has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old from Silver Spring.

The last time Kadiatu Sesay was seen was at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 31 near Sheffield Manor Court, according to an MCPD news release. Sesay is approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 120 pounds. The last time she was seen, she was wearing a black bathrobe with unknown clothing underneath. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kadiatu Sesay is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240)773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
