Maryland Lottery reports that a winning ticket worth over $15,000 was sold in downtown Silver Spring last week.
A $15,367 Racetrax ticket sold on Jan. 7 at the State Line Market at 7817 Eastern Ave. has been claimed, according to a news release.
The Mega Millions jackpot has swelled to $1.1 Billion after Friday’s drawing did not result in a winner. The next drawing will be held tonight at 11 p.m. Eastern time.
Maryland Lottery encourages players to check their tickets by scanning them at any Lottery retailer or by using the Lottery’s mobile app. Winners of drawing games have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes, and scratch-off winners have 182 days from the end date of the game to claim their prizes.
