UPDATED: Police: Silver Spring Teen Missing Since Jan. 4

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Christopher Sanchez has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring teen.

16-year-old Christopher Sanchez was last seen in the 8400 block of 11th Ave. on Jan. 4, at approximately 1:15 p.m., according to an MCPD news release. Sanchez is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he was last seen wearing.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Christopher Sanchez is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
