UPDATED: Police: 12-Year-Old Silver Spring Boy Missing Since Jan. 14

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Elmer Alexis Guzman Osorio has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 12-year-old from Silver Spring.

Elmer Alexis Guzman Osorio was last seen in the 1000 block of Quebec Terrace at approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, according to an MCPD news release. Elmer stands approximately five feet tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds. His hair is short and brown, and he has brown eyes. His last known clothing was a blue winter jacket, a white shirt, and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Elmer Alexis Guzman Osorio is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
