Nike Unite will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, the Source has confirmed.
The MoCo Show reported yesterday that the store’s Google listing had been updated to indicate an opening date of Feb. 23. Calls to the store’s phone number confirmed the opening date.
The store, located at 910 Ellsworth Dr. in the Downtown Silver Spring development, was originally slated to open last November but was then delayed until this year.
The Downtown Silver Spring store is part of Nike’s plan to open 200 stores in North America and Europe. Additional stores are also expected to open in Bethesda and in the H Street Corridor of the District; the Georgetown store closed last month and will relocate to the other side of the neighborhood, according to The Georgetown Metropolitan.
The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
