Montgomery County Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred overnight at a 7-Eleven store in downtown Silver Spring.
Officers responded to the 7-Eleven convenience store in the 8400 block of Georgia Ave. at approximately 2:24 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of a commercial armed robbery, according to police spokesperson Casandra Tressler Durham.
At this time, there have been no injuries reported, and no suspects have been arrested. An investigation is active and ongoing, Durham said.
