Juste Lounge & Restaurant is now open in the former home of Mix Bar & Grill at 8241 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring.
We reported in April that Mix Bar & Grill appeared to be changing concepts, with the county’s Board of License Commissioners hearing an application for an alcohol license from Juste Lounge & Restaurant on May 18.
Juste Lounge & Restaurant, which has operated since 2001 at its previous locations in the District and Bethesda, “is a modern casual American bistro with a trendy and vibrant bar scene focused on providing great food and spirits to a diverse clientele,” according to the restaurant’s website. African dishes, such as Senegalese Chicken Yassa and Ivorian Salmon, are available on the restaurant’s menu, along with bar foods such as burgers, wings, and tacos.
The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. daily.
