Police Seek Suspect in Nolte Ave. Laundry Room Burglary

Montgomery County Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video during a burglary in the laundry room of a Silver Spring apartment building in May.

According to detectives, at approximately 7:06 a.m. on May 14, an unknown male suspect entered a laundry room in the basement of a secured access apartment building in the 8200 block of Nolte Ave. The suspect then broke the washing machine and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the coin slot, according to an MCPD press release.

Based on the surveillance video, detectives were able to determine that the suspect was a Black male wearing a white headscarf, white t-shirt, and blue jeans.
