UPDATED: Police: Silver Spring Teen Missing Since June 13

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Darwin Rivera has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are seeking the public’s assistance in finding 17-year-old Darwin Rivera of Silver Spring, who has been missing for several days.

Rivera was last seen on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., in the 900 block of Browning Ave., according to an MCPD press release. Rivera stands approximately five feet, three inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds. He has medium-length black hair and brown eyes, a mustache, pierced ears, and tattoos on his left forearm and hands. It is unknown what clothing he was last seen wearing.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Darwin Rivera is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
