Montgomery County Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance video during a burglary at a home in the 3000 block of Calverton Blvd. on May 11.
During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that at approximately 12:52 p.m. on May 11, an unknown individual kicked in the front door and entered the residence. Once inside, the subject put on a mask and sunglasses and began searching the bedrooms and bathrooms. The suspect was observed stealing personal property while moving from room to room, placing it inside his pockets, and then leaving with it, according to an MCPD news release.
Detectives reviewed the surveillance video and obtained a description of the suspect, described as a Black male with short black hair, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black backpack, and white sneakers.
