There are currently several positions available at Uniqlo’s new Downtown Silver Spring store, which will open this summer rather than the fall as originally planned.
Several available positions were posted Wednesday, including Retail Supervisor in Training, Visual Merchandising Associate, Full-Time and Part-Time Retail Sales Associates, and Retail Alterations Specialist. Candidates interested in applying can visit the company’s website.
Earlier this year, we reported that Uniqlo, a subsidiary of Japan’s Fast Retailing Co., would occupy 10,058 square feet in the building formerly occupied by Ulta Beauty, which relocated to a new location at 8510 Fenton St. in 2020. XOA Lifestyle occupied the space for a short time before closing in November 2021.
The Downtown Silver Spring store will be Uniqlo’s fifth Washington, D.C. metropolitan area location, joining Tysons, Fair Lakes, North Bethesda, and Union Station.
