Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday evening in White Oak.
The Montgomery County Police Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received a call at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday regarding a vehicle collision in the parking lot of The Birches apartment complex in the 1500 block of Heather Hollow Circle. After arriving at the scene, officers from the 3rd District located 17-year-old Tyrone Howard Brown inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. Before coming to a stop, the victim crashed the car into several parked vehicles in the apartment complex’s parking lot, according to an MCPD news release.
Brown, who has no fixed address, was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to the MCPD, no suspect is currently in custody and no information about the suspect is available.
