Two downtown Silver Spring restaurants — Dog Haus Biergarten and All Set Restaurant & Bar — are raising funds for two nonprofits this month.
Dog Haus Biergarten corporate chef Adam Gertler has created Hawaiian-inspired items to raise money for the Maui Strong Fund, established by the Hawaii Community Foundation in response to the Maui wildfires. Throughout September, Dog Haus will donate $1 from each sale of Ohana Chicken Sando, Mighty Moa Wings, and Aloha Spirit Cocktail to the Maui Strong Fund.
As part of the International Day of Charity from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, All Set Restaurant & Bar will donate 25% of the pre-tax total of every dine-in check to Children’s National Hospital.
