Outback Steakhouse at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring has begun hiring as the restaurant approaches opening.
There are currently a number of positions available at the restaurant, including servers, line cooks, bartenders, and more. Candidates interested in applying can text HIREME to 30437 or visit Outback’s website.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based GBT Realty, which owns Ellsworth Place, announced in March that Outback signed a lease for approximately 7,000 square feet of restaurant and patio space in the former home of Not Your Average Joe’s, which closed in 2020.
Bloomin’ Brands, Outback’s parent company, did not provide an opening date, though construction is currently underway. The steakhouse joins a lineup of local and national restaurant brands including Dave & Buster’s, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Don Pollo, McGinty’s Public House, and Ben & Jerry’s, as well as the Commas food hall, which is expected to open by the end of this year.
