Taco Bell Cantina is now hiring for its upcoming location in downtown Silver Spring.
Pollo Campero’s former home at 8662 Colesville Rd. is set to be transformed into a Taco Bell Cantina. Construction on the restaurant, which is located next to The Fillmore Silver Spring and across the street from the upcoming Outback Steakhouse at Ellsworth Place, has recently begun.

In addition to traditional Taco Bell fare, the Cantina will offer alcoholic beverages like wine, beer, sangria, and “twisted freezes.” This will be the fifth Taco Bell Cantina in the region, joining locations in Court House, Old Town Alexandria, Columbia Heights, and Chinatown.
There is no specific opening date, but an employee at the construction site indicated that they would like to open by the end of the year.
