Outback Steakhouse installed exterior signage this week, as the restaurant approaches opening at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring.
We reported last month that Outback had begun hiring, offering several positions, including managers, servers, line cooks, and bartenders. Interested candidates can apply by texting HIREME to 30437 or by visiting Outback’s website.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based GBT Realty, which owns Ellsworth Place, announced in March that Outback had signed a lease for space in the former Not Your Average Joe’s, which closed in 2020. Bloomin’ Brands, Outback’s parent company, has not announced an opening date for the location.
Outback Steakhouse is part of a wave of restaurants opening in downtown Silver Spring in the coming months, including Commas, Java Nation, Prime Coffee & Bakery, Solaire Social, Taco Bell Cantina, and TCBY.
