The Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink at Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring is now open for the 2023-24 winter season, according to tweets by operations manager Eric Rasch.
According to the rink’s website, all skaters must pre-register and pay online. Sessions last up to two hours, not including ice maintenance time, and can be pre-purchased up to two weeks in advance. Ticket prices for adults are $11, for children and seniors $10, and for skate rentals $6.
The ice skating rink’s hours of operation are 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
