Police: 1 Dead, 1 Critically Injured in White Oak Shooting

Montgomery County Police are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting in White Oak on Saturday evening that left one man dead and another critically injured.

According to MCPD, 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the America’s Best Wings restaurant in the 11200 block of New Hampshire Ave. at approximately 5:51 p.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they found two adult male victims with apparent gunshot wounds.

An altercation inside the restaurant led to the shooting, according to the preliminary investigation. The suspect fled the scene after the shooting. An area hospital pronounced one of the victims dead after transporting the victims, and a second victim is in critical condition. 

MCPD says this is an active and ongoing investigation, and no suspect is in custody.
