Lemon Slice Café is now open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 7 days a week, as announced by owner Beth Yohannes on Instagram yesterday:
Lemon Slice Café opened its doors in September 2019 at 8737 Colesville Rd. in downtown Silver Spring. With over 20 years of experience in the catering industry, Yohannes took over the space previously occupied by Dip n Rolls, which closed in July of the same year. The café became popular for its unique blend of Ethiopian flavors in salads and sandwiches, particularly the Kitfo Sandwich (video below) and the Awaze Tibs Panini.
Yohannes launched the YouTube cooking series Chef Beth Makes in 2021.
