Montgomery County Police say that 41-year-old Tremaine McDowell has been arrested and charged with a series of burglaries in downtown Silver Spring.
This arrest came after officers went to his residence for a domestic violence-related call and saw piles of Apple MacBooks, iPhones, and other electronics.
According to an MCPD news release, detectives investigated a series of residential burglaries that took place between June and November of 2023 in the Lenox Park Apartments, The Veridian, and the Arrive Silver Spring apartment buildings in downtown Silver Spring.
During the investigation, McDowell became a suspect.

At about 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, McDowell was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was charged with multiple burglary-related charges and domestic violence-related crimes.
