$10,000 Reward Offered in Chipotle Assault Investigation

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects caught on surveillance video during an assault at Chipotle Mexican Grill in downtown Silver Spring last month.

According to an MCPD news release, officers were called to Chipotle on Ellsworth Drive at around 10 p.m. on November 26 for an assault. Two female suspects entered the restaurant, with one of them arguing with an employee and throwing food at them. The suspects then threw a chair at the employee before leaving the scene (video below).

Police described one of the suspects as a Black female wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts, and orange slippers; the second suspect is described as a Black female with long black hair wearing a long white coat, leggings, and brown boots.
