Downtown Silver Spring-based social photography studio Sip & Develop will open its new location at National Harbor on Friday, Feb. 2.
The studio confirmed the second location’s grand opening date on Instagram.
Sip & Develop, which opened its first location in Downtown Silver Spring in 2022 and became popular on TikTok, offers a social space where they serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as providing darkrooms for developing photographic film:

Last year, Sheen Magazine reported that Sip & Develop at the National Harbor will be located at 136 Waterfront Street, taking the place of Zen Yoga, which moved to Old Town Alexandria. After a successful pop-up event in Atlanta in 2022, the company plans to host more pop-up events in Charlotte and Philadelphia and is considering additional locations.
Sip & Develop received the Editor’s Choice award in the Arts & Culture category for “Best New Places to See and Make Art” in Best of Bethesda 2023.
