A shooting in downtown Silver Spring on Thursday night left two people injured, according to Montgomery County Police.
An MCPD spokesperson said that 3rd District officers responded to a call about the incident just before midnight on Thursday. Upon arriving at the intersection of Colesville Road and Second Ave., near the Paul S. Sarbanes Transit Center, they discovered two victims with gunshot wounds.
Both individuals were transported to the hospital, and police have confirmed that their injuries are not life-threatening.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and MCPD has not yet shared a description of any suspects involved.
