Montgomery County Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place on Friday night in East Silver Spring.
According to MCPD spokesperson Shiera Goff, a report of a shooting was received at 10:01 p.m. on Friday. Officers from the 3rd District responded to the 600 block of Sligo Ave. where they found an adult male victim, who was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
There are no suspects in custody at this time, and this is an active and ongoing investigation, Goff said.
