Java Nation is preparing for the soft opening of its new downtown Silver Spring location on March 6, as confirmed in an email received by the Source.
An alert from a reader earlier this week indicated that the anticipated opening date for Java Nation had been rescheduled to March.

Java Nation has locations in Kensington, on Rockville Pike in North Bethesda, and in Kentlands in Gaithersburg. According to the company’s website, its first store opened in 2012, offering locally sourced produce and freshly roasted coffee. Additionally, Java Nation’s locations serve cocktails, beer, and wine; a liquor board hearing was held for the upcoming downtown Silver Spring location last summer.
