Seven Ride On Bus Routes to Undergo Schedule Adjustments on May 5

The county’s Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will implement schedule adjustments for seven Ride On bus routes, effective Sunday, May 5.

According to a press release, the aim is to enhance efficiency and improve on-time performance. Despite relatively stable service levels, the changes reflect a strategic reallocation of resources to areas with higher demand, ensuring more reliable service.

The affected routes include 5, 34, 39, 76, 83, 97, and 98. While most routes will experience timetable modifications, Route 76 will undergo a slight map change.

Here are the specific details for each route:

  • Route 5 (PDF): Trip timings will be adjusted for improved efficiency, applicable on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Route 34 (PDF): Trip timings will be adjusted for improved efficiency, applicable on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Route 39 (PDF): Trip timings will be adjusted for improved efficiency, applicable on weekdays only.
  • Route 76 (PDF): The Crossvines stop will be removed due to operational safety concerns, applicable on weekdays only.
