J. Hollinger’s has expanded its Happy Hour menu with new dishes and signature drinks priced between $5 and $10.
According to a press release, noteworthy additions include Fresh Steamed Clams with bacon, parsley, garlic, and white wine sauce ($8 for a half-dozen); BBQ Baby Back Pork Spareribs with honey BBQ sauce and mango habanero salsa ($9 for three); and Grilled Bone Marrow with crostini, pickled ramps, and crispy fennel ($10).
In addition to beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktail specials priced between $5 and $10, J. Hollinger’s has introduced three new Colesville Crush cocktails — Strawberry Field, Tiki Tango, and Silver Dreamsicle, each available for $10.
Happy Hour specials are available Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. until close, exclusively in the bar area.
Known for its popular All-Night $1 Oysters Happy Hour, J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse is located at 8606 Colesville Rd. in downtown Silver Spring. Since its May 2022 opening, the restaurant has received significant recognition and has consistently been named one of Eater’s 38 Essential Restaurants for the last ten months; Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema also praised its “accessible luxury” in his June 2022 review.
