Lime & Cilantro: Montgomery Hills’ Newest Restaurant Now Open

Modern Latin-focused restaurant Lime & Cilantro is now open at 1909 Seminary Rd. in Montgomery Hills.

Last month, we reported that former Art and Soul executive chef Danny Chavez would take over the former Crown Fried Chicken location, previously occupied by Krazy Steve’s Comfort Cuisine and Armand’s Chicago Pizzeria.

Former Oprah Winfrey personal chef Art Smith opened Art and Soul in 2007.

According to the restaurant’s Instagram account, Lime & Cilantro aims to deliver a fresh take on classic Latin fare, promising “an unpretentious, modern Latin-focused restaurant…Our goal is to deliver our heart and soul to your plate, with some damn delicious food that’s as beautiful as it is tasty. Led by Washington Post-mentioned executive chef Danny Chavez and FOH director Fathi Sarsouri, Lime & Cilantro aims to be a DMV destination for delicious, Latin cuisine.”

Lime & Cilantro’s operating hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
