Montgomery County Police are asking for help identifying two suspects who stole a Toyota Corolla from outside Planet Fitness in downtown Silver Spring on April 10.
On April 10th, at around 9:45 p.m., officers from the 3rd District responded to a report of an auto theft at Planet Fitness, located in the 1100 block of Wayne Ave. According to a press release, two women entered the gym’s locker room, took the victim’s car keys, and then stole a white 2015 Toyota Corolla with Maryland registration 4DZ5597 that was parked nearby.
They also used a credit card found inside the vehicle to make unauthorized purchases at a local store, police said.

MCPD described the first suspect as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, multicolored shoes, and a black crossbody purse. The second suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a pink crossbody purse.
Police ask anyone with information to contact the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County through their website at crimesolversmcmd.org or (866) 411-8477. All tips can be provided anonymously, and information that leads to an arrest may qualify for a reward of up to $10,000.
