Fans of Kefa Café can now enjoy their coffee at a new location in downtown Silver Spring.
A grand opening event was held Sunday at the coffee shop’s new outpost at 1319 Apple Ave., inside the Silver Spring Recreation & Aquatic Center.
The opening marks Kefa Café’s return to Montgomery County-owned facilities in downtown Silver Spring, following the relocation of its kiosk at the Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library to the Wheaton Library in 2020. Bump ‘n Grind subsequently took over the vacated spot in 2021.
According to Montgomery County Recreation, Kefa Café operates daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
