Nash & Smash Signage Installed at Woodmoor Shopping Center

Exterior signage is up at Nash & Smash as the restaurant prepares to open at the Woodmoor Shopping Center.

Last December, we reported that the Aldie, Va.-based chain, which bills itself as the “ultimate destination for fried chicken, Nashville-style sandwiches, smashed burgers, and more,” had leased space #10 at 10121 Colesville Rd. This space was previously occupied by Subway and is located between Bento Express and Woodmoor Cleaners, adjacent to The UPS Store, which closed in June.

The county’s Department of Permitting Services issued commercial building permits for the site in March.

Nash & Smash currently operates in Manassas, Herndon, and Ashburn in Virginia, as well as Laurel and Ellicott City in Maryland. According to the chain’s website, Nash & Smash has also partnered with various restaurant brands, such as Kallisto Steakhouse, Spice Village, and Peri-Peri Original, which has multiple locations in the area, including one at Colesville Center. All menu items at the restaurant are halal, and their smash burgers are available in sizes ranging from 3 to 12 ounces to accommodate individual preferences.

The Silver Spring location and another in Richmond, Va., are set to open soon; however, specific opening dates have yet to be announced.

The MoCo Show first reported on Nash & Smash’s new signage last week.
