Emergency crews responded Monday evening after a Ride On bus hit a traffic pole at Piney Branch Road and Dale Drive in Silver Spring.
The MoCo Show reported last night that multiple units from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service and the Hillandale Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. According to Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer, thirteen injured patients were taken to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently unknown. The Source will provide updates as more information becomes available.
